November 16, 1955 — A monster Thanksgiving Day feed for KING radio and TV performers and their families will be televised from the studio from 2 to 5 Thanksgiving afternoon on Channel 5. While staff members and their broods stuff, hungry cameramen will circle the lenses from table to table for between bite chats with the diners. The dinner will pose both culinary and technical problems. The station has reserved a raft of telegenic turkeys and several pounds of cranberries for the event. Studio engineers will have to use the 60 inch lens to cover out-sized feasters.
