Phil Sturholm (KIRO 7 News/KING 5 News) died in August at his Bothell home. He was 80. A memorial service was held today (Sunday October 2) attended by many of his colleagues. Sturholm’s work earned multiple awards and a 1993 induction into the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Silver Circle, a prestigious honor given to exceptional journalists with at least 25 years experience.
