John Seigenthaler, most recent an anchor for the defunct Al Jazeera America, has joined PR firm Finn Partners as Senior Counsel. He’ll advise clients across the agency’s network of offices, which include dvlSeigenthaler, a Nashville-based agency Seigenthaler worked for in between TV news stints. Seigenthaler worked for his family’s firm, which was acquired by Finn Partners last year, from 2008-2013, when he joined AJAM. From 1996-2007, Seigenthaler was an anchor for NBC News and MSNBC. He’s also worked as an anchor/reporter at Nashville’s WKRN and WSMV and Seattle’s KOMO.

I believe John is married to former KOMO anchor Kerry Brock. Kerry is sister of my classmate Kathy Brock, who is a veteran anchor at WLS.
