Recently eBay sent an Email, based on my past searches, asking if I wanted to purchase this antique KJR pin-on button. Actually I don’t need it, but I think it’s a cool piece of nostalgia. In 1997 Seattle was pretty proud of Seattle Slew, he was their favorite son, and KJR’s Ichabod Caine was a close runner up. I didn’t label these photos, I assume our readers can identify the button and figure out who is who in the lower photos. As a nostalgic bonus, here’s a short (edited and scoped), aircheck of Icky doing his midday shift at the end of August 1977.
