They may not be “Seattle’s Funniest Person(s)” but 106.1 KBKS “Kiss-FM” has added two more hosts to the Carla Marie & Anthony morning show beginning April 1. Amber “Alabama” Cole joins from Country “Big 95.5” WEBG Chicago & ‘English Evan’ Omelia who briefly worked in sales at iHeart Media Seattle & put in a few cameos on “Power 93” KPWK is also added to the team. Needless to say, but KISS doesn’t appear to be handing out the $10,000 they promised listeners would go to the successful candidates, instead preferring direct hires from elsewhere. This reporter can’t see what’s been accomplished by lying to listeners with a fake promo with no basis in truth. This lame promotion along with the “death” of KISS-FM has hardly made a dent in their ratings. Last fall, KBKS had a 2.2 share while early this year they only improved this slightly to 2.3.
