Good morning.
We had a grand celebration of Frostys life yesterday at Crista. Around 60 to 70 were in attendance.
It was great to see so many familiar faces. I know Sue was very happy.
I had produced a video for the event, using photos collected from many sources. Most of the KING radio photos came from the Bob Carver family (Bob was a friend of mine and among many other clients was the on-call photographer for KING radio events). Some photos of the Veterans service came from Kim Whittemore and Aland. The rest are from my collection. (I hope I didn’t leave anyone out).
The video has been loaded to YouTube. Klem Daniels did that last night. THANK YOU KLEM!
A couple of things you need to know about the video. It’s 16:50 long, the sound starts a few seconds in, the first half is a collection of photos from Frostys early days at KING with audio from a special LP that was produced by his friends at KING for his retirement. It includes a clip of frosty jumping out of an airplane and a rare wire recording of the Space Needle “earthquake” event and much more. The final 4 1/2 minutes contains photos from KGNW, Frostys radio luncheons, final broadcast on KGNW and other gathering photos with audio of Frosty that I am sure will bring back great memories of Frostys sparkle and whit. Turn up the volume!
Please forward this email to anyone you think might enjoy a trip down memory lane with the one and only Frosty Fowler!
Thank you Lord for placing this very special man in our lives.

I moved to Houston 6 years ago (2017) and wasn't aware of Frosty's passing until I just now ran across this. I wish I could have attended his Celebration of Life as Frosty was a dear friend. I first met Frosty at Shoreline Savings when I was selling time for KGNW. I was a big fan of his when he was at KING. I mean the guy was legendary in Seattle radio.
It was a great day when he went on the air at KGNW as he brought with him his great sense of humor and we had a lot of laughs and good times together.
After he hung up his cleats as far as radio went and retired we kept in touch. Every now and then, when I would find myself in Polsbo (sp), I would give him a call and we'd meet up for lunch.
I really enjoyed the video....thank you Jerry Berg for putting it together you did a great job. Great to see the old KGNW gang. I especially appreciated your including the Space Needle earthquake episode. I remember Frosty telling me about it but getting to hear a recording of it was special.
My much delayed condolences to Sue.
Best Wishes
