KOMO-4 TV today reports that well-known & popular weather forecaster Steve Pool has announced his retirement after 40 years in broadcasting – most of it spent at KOMO-4. A University of Wash. graduate, he began his career at Channel 4 in the late 1970’s as an intern. In Sept. 2018, Steve revealed his diagnosis of prostate cancer & took time off to seek treatment. Happily, Steve’s cancer is now in remission. However, he now feels it’s time to turn the weather maps over to a replacement.
