Scoped aircheck originally posted on YouTube by Rex Jennings. KOL 1300 AM Seattle. 1975 (date confirmed), prior to new owner Hercules Broadcasting switching the format to Country. This audio features KOL jingles, John Maynard/Roy Otis, Roger Dale, Lee Chase, Bobby Simon, Terry McManus/Jimmy Stalwart, Mike O’Connor, Jerry Kay, Lan Roberts, Burl Barer, Robert O. Smith, and others. There are also the promos for KJR and KING AM and references to many past KOL jocks. John Maynard sits in, kind of unfamiliar with the board, newly redesigned by Bill Wolfenbarger, and some technical errors result.
