This editor received an interesting note from Gary “Burleigh” Shannon, a now retired prominent jock in the Pacific Northwest and nationally. Gary commented: “Star 101.5 has changed their music once again. This time it’s a dramatic change — a Top 40/alternative hybrid. After giving the station a listen, my first impression is the playlist is reminiscent of, at least it reminds me of, the format that had been on the now defunct ‘Click 98.9.’ Do others who have heard the station’s new format have any thoughts or comments? I would be interested to find out what others think.
