Changes at Hubbard’s Seattle stations

From today’s Radio Insight we learn that Corey Dillon’s replacement at Hubbard country outlet “98.9 The Bull” KNUC is Brian ‘B-Dub’ Washington who takes on afternoon drive hosting as well as APD/MD duties.  ‘B-Dub’ comes to the Northwest from Denver country station “106.7 The Bull” KWBL. He’s been on air & in programming previously in Sacramento, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Philadelphia & at Portland’s country “98.7 The Bull” KUPL.  After a cameo appearance last weekend as “Captain Smile” in a promotional stunt, he was introduced to “98.9 The Bull” listeners this morning on Fitz’s show.

Also from Radio Insight today it’s reported that Wheeler Morris, son of Hubbard CEO Ginny Morris has been named VP/Marketing Manager for Hubbard’s cluster of stations in Seattle – “Movin’ 92.5” KQMV, “98.9 The Bull” KNUC , “Warm 106.9” KRWM , 880 KIXI  and 1150 KKNW.  Morris was most recently the Manager of Corporate Podcasting Strategy for Hubbard Radio.

Hubbard Seattle has appointed Scott Mahalick as Operations Manager for the cluster.  Mahalick joined Hubbard in April 2019 as Brand and Content Director for “98.9 The Bull KNUC. He has served as Interim Market Manager since the departure of Ann Marie Mulholland last December.   In his new role as OM, Scott will oversee content and branding for Hubbard Radio’s five radio stations here in our market.

Both Wheeler Morris and Scott Mahalick will begin their new duties on April 20, 2020.
