We will be keeping an eye on Phoenix tv stations to see which one Walter ends up at.
He will be greatly missed. Now get Rebecca back!
You will be missed thank you for all the years you were with us all. Good luck in your new adventure wishing you only the best.
Walter, this is a sad moment in Seattle history. Not only did you bring us weather, but you taught us about weather. You also didnt sensationalize the weather as most local stations do.
A favorite pastime for my father is reading weather maps, comparing NOAA WEBSITE, with local weather channels and predicting weather. For him to vouch for your accuracy meant a lot to me. I have paid more attn to you because of this and also found your predictions to be very accurate and reliable and a good conversation piece for the 2 of us. To be with family is very important and wish you well. But i hope the station doesnt try to bring in a pretty face, but someone with credentials, someone that will align with NOAA not UW and continue to make the weather accurate not sensational and over the top. Thank you for your time here. You will be missed.
We are going to miss you Walter. You brought more than weather to us but a sense of humanity which the world badly needs right now. Best of luck and may your 7 day forecast always have 7 golden orbs in it.
Sincerely, Mike from Bothell.
