“I see the Saturday afternoon show as philosophical in nature,” James said, “especially since I initiated the “Inner Cosmos” segment.”
Her Friday show will focus on “strategies for survival” — how to maintain relations with children, spouses, freeway traffic, etc.
She will also look at the messages in country-western songs. Why country-western?
“Because they state quite clearly the presumptions we sometimes have about life,” James said. “Besides, I like country music.”
“Some of it’s not very positive, you know,” she said.
To illustrate, she let slip the song she’s likely to tackle Friday: “Why Don’t You Love Me Like You Used To Do?”

Well whadda ya know...I scrolled to the bottom of the column to find that Mike Lonergan got the same "top billing" as Lou Robbins did in another classic Victor S. column! Of course, it was nice of Mr . Stredicke to mention Tacoma radio at all in his Seattle Times column, so I'm not complaining.
Yes, at least we got honorable mention.
What ever happened to Jennifer? During this period cited, wasn't her "day job" at the University of Washington?
