    Surprised to see that most of Vic’s column on this day in’69 was about little stations where I worked…KURB, KTNT and KMO. I never made it to KIRO, let alone KNBR!
    However, following up on Dick’s comment above, I did have the honor of judging the Daffodil Queen pageant twice. And while at KURB, I rode on a float with Dick Stokke in a Lynnwood parade, both of us in our bathrobes to promote our morning show.
