Edgar Bennett says:
It is funny that the P.I. wrote a little different story on this. Frank Chelsy (I am sure I misspelled the last name) wrote that Pat O, Day will be back on the air for as little time as possible. The reason is Mike Phillips received an offer to relocated to another market and that is just the nature of the business. He went back to KFRC. Pat also denied that there was any conflict. I could not help but wonder about that. It would also cause a shake up at KOL-AM. Dick Curtis was concerned about how long Pat would be back on the air. So Dick decided that he better put himself back on the morning show in August. Morning man Terry Mcmanus was was moved to noon till 3 and Bobby Simon was moved from noon till 3 to 6 till 9 p.m., Burl Barer 9 till midnight and Robin Sherwood who was fired from KOL-FM in February, mysteriously returns to work midnight till 6 a.m. Unfortunately, Robin Mitchell and Greg Connors were fired and end up at KING a short time later. One little thing leads to another. Mitchell would return to KOL as P.D. in June of 70.

Jason Remington says:
This was a very good period for rock & roll radio in Seattle. When KJR, KOL, and KING were competing, changes happened often. Schedules were tweaked, jocks were traded, or stolen, from a competing station.
