Dear Friends,
It is with great sadness and shock that I share the news that our colleague Daryl Summers (Svardh) passed away Tuesday morning. We donβt have additional details at this time, but what we do know is that Daryl was a great broadcaster, a treasured member of the KVI team and a wonderful person who will be missed by all who had the good fortune to cross paths with her in a life that ended far too soon.

Stunned and saddened by this terrible news. Daryl and I worked closely together at Warm 106.9 for 10 years. Beautiful voice, beautiful soul. She touched countless lives both on-air and off. A heartbreaking loss. RIP, Daryl...shine on.
Utterly shocked to learn of the sudden passing of Daryl Summers last week. I knew and worked with her for over a decade when she was at Warm 106.9 and I was at 98.9 Smooth Jazz KWJZ. I would often walk down the hall and visit her during her shift, and we would talk about radio, and real estate. What a huge loss.
Daryl was truly a bright star that always had a good word for everyone. Such a huge loss to all that knew and loved her, including meππ
Iβm very sad to hear this! π’
I have good memories of working with her back in the days at KRWM. Very sad news.
A beautiful friend will be missed.
I join all of those that miss and feel sad.
Very sad about this. She was a joy to be around. I will miss our small talks. God bless her and my prayers are with her husband Scott. Her sister made many masks that Daryl shared with many. I will always cherish the few that I have.
Bon voyage, Daryl. I will miss your soothing voice and dazzling smile.
