    Jason Remington says:

Never tried streaking or broadcasting in the nude. I did a remote from a hot tub once, but I was partially clothed, for the sake of customers visiting the store.

Don’t know why, Jason but I am reminded of the fellow that saw a sign outside of a store which read, “All ladies clothing half off.” He rushed into the store only to discover it was a big lie.

Same for entrants in the annual Fremont naked bike ride, but change “Most” to “All” and “nothing” to “nauseating”.

I had that same thought. The world might be a little better if most people kept their clothes on and mouths shut.

          So Dick and Jason……

As he chose to ride his bike naked in Fremont, just as a joke

It was more than his words that got caught as he wheeled and “spoke”!

            Jay,

(OUCH!) is the under(pun)statement of the week.

Always keep rocket away from sprocket.

Dick ~ Talking about puns and streaking. Our neighbors across the street had a local window washing crew doing their windows today. The firm’s name on their truck was: Pane’N The Glass Window Cleaning. Their slogan, posted on the side of the truck, was “No Streaking Allowed!”
              How serendipitous is that?

I suppose it’s only reasonable that someone felt an obligation to add this link to a post about streaking … my only regret is that I’m the one that chose to do so! So, for your streaking pleasure, here goes:

Ray Stevens was many years ahead of the pack, when it came to “Redneck” humor…and think about a couple of his hit records…no way, in today’s extremely “anal”, politically correct world, would he even be allowed to express himself like he could!…”Ahab the Arab” comes to mind!…lol

It’s interesting the juxtaposition of the song “Ahab” with Ray Stevens’ hit 197o Grammy award-winning song “Everything Is Beautiful”. Even with its undeniably positive message, there are those who still might have a problem with it today. Political correctness or not, some things seem to never change.

    John Christopher Kowsky says:

That same year KGW Sister Station KING came out with a promotional Streaking The Big 11 KING T-Shirt, featuring a caricature of an older male, from behind. Don’t suppose there are any in existence any more. Just after receiving mine, I wore it to a Crab Feed at the smallest incorporated community in the State of Washington. As I recall…absolutely no one was impressed.

Well…I guess that I got lucky, back in 1974….I had a night delivery route, driving a Ford 150 van…so, in the wee hours of one morning, I was tooling along by Sea-Tac Airport, when out of the bushes popped two-very attractive-naked young ladies, maybe a hundred yards ahead of me, dancing around in the street!…Naturally, being a friendly sort of guy, I approached them…but when I got about 10 yards away, they just laughed, and scurried off into the nearby bushes…it was a nice view of a couple of sexy rear ends!…I figure they were likely a couple of strippers from a nearby club (Sea-Tac area had a couple of those clubs!) or maybe just a couple of drunk ladies…streaking was definitely a fad that was fun to observe!

Sam Lawson, we knew each other back around 1970-1972, then lost touch. He was also known as “Potted Plant” in the CB radio days.
