CBS has added Sacramento and will be adding Miami and Baltimore soon to the CBSN streaming news channels. Seems that KSTW would be on the network’s radar, except for the fact that KSTW 11 is operated from KPIX San Francisco and has no news staff, no real footprint in the Seattle market.

Seattle has grown now to the number 12th television market. Expect CBS and NBC to own stations in this market, in the coming years.
KSTW shut down it's newsroom towards the end of 1998.
