  • So much for watching koin 6'in the morning..Imtoally disagreemwith some prima Dona rolling intomPlrtland and making Amstupid decision such as this....Fox 12 is the only news station worth watching anymore...

  • I’m sorry to hear that your not doing traffic there. You are the only reaso I would watch. I know you will be successful at any other endeavors you might take on. So I like you will sign off from koin6.

  • Great respect for Ken Bodie and the long, long years he has been our friend-for-the-news. In 2008 when many of us were cut loose the go-to phrase was "life is free agency." As long as news is as deplorable as it is, somehow it seems that good people don't deserve the task of being affiliated with organizations that tinker with successful formulas. Carly... from an asteroid's view you have a lot more to offer than traffic. Your personality would shine through and there is more there than KOIN realized, so you have everything to be proud of. We look forward to your next creative entry into the public eye. And props to your husband for his support, too!

  • I know that I miss you greatly on Channel 6. They made a huge mistake not keeping you. For the longest time you worked morning and evening show. There was a huge traffic tie up two days ago and you should have been there reporting it. Thanks Carley, from a loyal fan, Pamela Foster

  • Hi everyone!!! It’s Carly! I miss delivering the traffic in the mornings for you! It was not my decision to leave KOIN after 14 years. The new GM decided to change up the morning show and not renew my contract. They decided to not have a designated traffic reporter and instead give my duties to a “breaking news” anchor with little experience reporting traffic. You can be loyal to a company for years and they will never be loyal to you in return, it’s life lol. I have heard from many people that the show is not good anymore. I haven’t watched since I left. I’ll be doing some freelance work soon, so watch Channel 12 in the mornings the last two weeks of December. 🤗

    • We stopped watching KOIN a long time ago, but always appreciated the fine job you did reporting the traffic conditions. We stopped mainly because of the way the weather is handled since the newer boss over the weather reporters came on board. We watch them manipulate the numbers & percentages shown in a broadcast such that they can cover every scenario & call themselves the most accurate forecast. Mark Nelsen of Kptv and Matt Zaffino of KGW do not do that. Anyway, you were always excellent in your presentation, & it was a nice surprise to see you on KPTV this week. Hope you stay there if that’s what you would like to do.

    • Yep!!! LOALTY means nothing anymore!! We all miss you and will find another local affiliate to view from now on. Good job and EXTREMELY well done!!! GOD BLESS YOU.

  • New line up sucks, once Ken Boodie leaves I leave. I'm spending more time watching channel 2 KATV, Jenny left and now you have a whiney voice. Carley left and you have that dork doing weather on Alert. And why are these folks seemingly gone alot ? Crapy news cast now.

  • Where’s Ken Boddie, he is (was) our only African American representation on our local television news, please you need to do something to cultivate bringing more African Americans to television and behind the scenes don’t just hire one and think “ it’s all good “
continue to delve into the writing and broadcast team.

  • I really miss Carley Kennelly; she was confident, warm and just a pleasure. KOIN has really screwed up their mornings. I'll no longer use it as my go-to news station. Frankly, all your changes SUCK!

  • KOIN tv must be under new management. First moving Jenny Hansson to a short midday position, Then disappearing Carly Kennally. By the way, where is Ken Boddie? Sounds like new management to me. Oh well, I like KATU morning news also if they could just ditch the blonde traffic person KATU. Oh, so by the way in the world would Koin think that Emily Burris ( with her whining, ready-to-cry voice ) is ready to anchor the morning news. It sounds like they're at a funeral when I hear her. So long KOIN.

  • I’m not sure why the big shake up, but I don’t think you should have gotten rid of your traffic reporter. I for one do use those reports for my commute. I’m watching other stations for that information now 😕
