Personal news to share.
After 10 years at Q13 News, I have decided to leave the station at the end of this month.
For me… it’s a calling. I’ll be committing my full-time efforts and passions to helping area nonprofits fundraise as a benefit auctioneer and event host. It’s work that I’ve been doing and growing for the past five years.
My family and I moved back to the Pacific Northwest from Boston because this is where we wanted to raise our family. I hope to help make the region I care so deeply about even stronger.
While I will always treasure the opportunity to cover stories in my hometown and the insider access this role of news anchor/reporter has provided, it’s the personal relationships I’ve established at Q13 that I cherish most.
My co-workers have been my second family. I will truly miss them.
I plan on continuing to tell important stories. It’s in my DNA.
While you may not see me on Q13, I hope we bump into each other at an event for an area charity.
Please know, connecting with you has been the honor and pleasure of my 26-year broadcasting career!🙏❤️
