  • Bing spent the better part of his youth in Spokane. His family moved from Tacoma when Bing was three. The Tacoma residence still get lookie-loos. Actress Dyan Cannon was also born in Tacoma. Darren McGavin, the father in A Christmas Story, was born in Spokane. Actor Robert Culp attended the University of Washington where he took up acting. (Wikipedia erroneously lists Washington University in St. Louis).
