KVAL (CBS) 13 in Eugene, Or., has hired Erin Slinde as a sports multimedia journalist covering the University of Oregon Ducks, OSU athletics, and local high school sports. Erin Slinde was most recently a sports reporter and anchor for Cronkite News on Arizona PBS. Slinde graduated Arizona State University in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism getting her master’s degree in Sports Journalism. Slinde studied broadcast journalism at West Virginia University, where she was Setter for the West Virginia University Women’s Volleyball Team. Erin made the Academic All-Big 12 First Team all four years at WVU, and graduated with impressive career stats.
