STAR 101.5 (KPLZ-Seattle) Welcomes New Program Director and Talent Including Voice-Tracking In Afternoon Drive

On Monday, January 3rd, Lotus Seattle Adult Hits Station, KPLZ/STAR 101.5, kicks off the new year with an exciting live and local lineup. Lisa Adams, a Seattle native will lead the charge as Program Director.
Weekday line up:
6 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Moug & Angie Mornings
11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Lisa Adams
2 p.m. – 7 p.m. – Julian on the Radio
7 p.m. – 6 a.m. – More Music Nights on STAR 101.5
Station General Manager, Gary Greenberg commented, “It’s an exciting time at STAR 101.5/KPLZ as we ramp up our commitment to our Adult Hits format, our community and advertisers. I’m thrilled to welcome this highly talented group. We expect great things from STAR 101.5 in ’22”

Moug & Angie –
Moug (pronounced like “Vogue”) is a newlywed with three dogs and a cat and has yet to venture into the world of parenting. Essentially, he’s a mid30’s millennial trying to navigate marriage and starting a family in West Seattle. Each morning, Moug joins Angie in sharing their lives, their perspectives on pop culture and everything Seattle!
Angie is the female half of Moug & Angie Mornings on STAR 101.5. A millennial married mom of two boys, she’s balancing living her best life while making sure her preschooler and tween sons thrive in Kirkland.
Moug & Angie first met at KLUC in Las Vegas where Moug was doing afternoons and Angie won a contest for a co-host who was going on maternity leave. They became fast friends and developed “Moug and Angie Mornings”, having spent the past 2.5 years in Boise at MIX 106.

Lisa Adams –
Lisa makes her return from Boise to be Program Director and midday host on STAR 101.5. Lisa has spent time Programming and on-air in Seattle, Portland and most recently at Magic 97.9 in Boise. She’s a mom of 3 boys, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. She and her family love to travel and in addition, Lisa is a certified life and wellness coach.

Julian on the Radio –
Those who know Julian would describe him as interesting, unique, and good hearted. But really, he’s a pretty simple guy who loves to entertain and make people feel something. He started his radio career in his hometown, Washington D.C. From there he went to Chicago, Phoenix, San Francisco and now Seattle, which he now calls home.
He is known for his large sneaker collection, his love of 90’s movies and new movies. He’s addicted to coffee, making Seattle a perfect place for him.
