It appears that daytime was more fun than nighttime at KAYE, but you could switch over to KLAY FM and hear something in STEREO just about anytime, except at daybreak and dinner time.

All that Fun Time on KAYE reminded me of my growing up years in the Tri-Cities, listening to top-40 daytimer KORD, where every time check in the hot desert months was either “Summer Fun Time” or “Suntan Turnover Time.”

This must have been early 65. No listing for Herb Smiles. Sandy Hamilton hosted a top 40 show from 63 till 65. Sandy was replaced by Herb. Sandy made it to KOL and later KJR. I understand that Bobby Simon and Dick Curtis once worked at KAYE in the 50,s.
