Rebecca Stevenson updated her LinkedIn profile to show a switch from KING 5 to KOMO 4. Seattle TV viewers are seeing a lot of shuffling of deck chairs as the stations compete for their attention.

I don’t watch much of King5 anymore. All the good people leave. KOMO is my go to channel for news. The only reason I watch is for Rich’s weather report. Don’t much care for the morning news staff that reports. The station has gone downhill for several years. Again all the good people leave.
Why did Rebecca Stevenson leave king5?
Likely reasons:
Insufficient pay
KING 5's preferential treatment of minorities versus white people (in hiring and in the workplace) This makes for a toxic work environment.
Just two reasons, neither of which was given publicly by Rebecca. She kept the reason close to her vest. So, your guess is as good as mine.
Abby Acone sure was missing a long time from Channel 13. What’s up?
Abby simply took time off to rest and renew. She's back!
Why was Abby Acone replaced by Rebecca Stevenson on KOMO channel 4 news Seattle?
Abby chose to leave KOMO for FOX 13.
Rebecca, I think you are the first to present the weather on all the northwest tv stations, 4, 5, 7, and 13! Just know that I would follow you any where you decided to report the weather from even if I don't live there. You add "spice" to the weather reporting! You give us sunshine on a cloudy day, and if it's cold outside, you give us the month of May. You are our Weather Girl ❣💘💕
I don't watch Seattle news, period. There's no good news to report, and the Seattle stations suck anyway.
Today's news is dominated by biases. Those who can only see a bias to one side (because of their world view) are experiencing serious vision problems.
Knowing this, we tend to question everything we hear in the news. The other side of that coin is that there are multitudes following conspiracy theories.
Some question others not so much hence the multitudes. Middle ground doesn't seem to exist........
Love Rebecca Stevenson! Great to see her on KOMO!
Hi Mary!
I miss her at King 5. She was robbed of Chief Meteorologist on Kiro 7.
We need to get together.

I thought I was losing my mind (not funny at 86!) when Rebecca appeared on KOMO tonight! Good for her!
The move away from KOMO is because the new owner, Sinclair, required anchors to read statements that were untrue. To their credit, anchors at KOMO refused. Story here (watch the video--amazing).
