2-18-67 … With a successful radio career in the rear view mirror, Wink Martindale leaves KFWB Los Angeles for TV stardom. Game shows were popular at that time and Wink became the announcer for Everybody’s Talking, hosted by Lloyd Thaxton. Wink later took over as host for several game shows, such as Tic-Tac-Dough and High Rollers. Later, he hosted a segment on the syndicated Music of Your Life radio network.
