iHeart has finally put the distinctive programming of each station in place. Now, the much needed new Conservative talk station in Seattle, KPTR 1090, can be enjoyed by all. That gives Libs at least five stations to listen to to learn the truth.

4/10/22 — CNN’s Sunday morning comedy hour, Reliable Sources, with Spanky Stelter, featured a survey about what happens when FOX News viewers are subjected to CNN for a period of time. The participants in the survey were paid by CNN for their participation. The results showed that most participants chose to return to FOX.

Who do they protect at night now anyway? Little Rock powers down to low power these days and whoever else on the east coast realistically isn’t going to be getting interference from Seattle. These protection contours are out dated. Umatilla station on 1090 went toast a few years ago. IHeart should be able to fatten up that eastward lobe a bit now with KAAY going low power at night. Or maybe not. ?

KJR Programming guy on Twitter “yes, we were on FM before, on a very small signal that didn’t cover a large area”. Referring to 102.9 FM. Haha, that signal is by far one of the biggest in the market, arguably, much better in Downtown Seattle than 93.3, especially along the waterfront. The gap for that frequency is Auburn, Kent, east slopes of hills etc. We shall see how the ratings are.

Looks like it’s time to put music back on the FM frequency and put talk back on AM where it belongs. Yes 97.3 should be music too. That talk stuff belongs on AM.
