These radio listings from the 60s brought back a memory from 1966, when I was in Richland high school. I was sent to Tacoma to attend a student government convention. Housing arrangements had been made with local families, and I stayed at a home in Steilacoom. The morning routine was busy, but I recall everything stopped at 7:30 as the whole family listened to Murray Morgan’s 15-minute news and comment program on KTAC. I was quite impressed that this local guy commanded the same kind of listener loyalty as Paul Harvey did nationally.
