Public Radio’s Austin Jenkins Joins Start-Up

(KUOW/KNKX) Journalist Austin Jenkins has left the public radio fold. He accepted a staff writer position with a Washington, D.C.-based start-up, Pluribus News. Since 2003, Austin has covered Washington state government, public policy, and politics. Since January 2004, Austin Jenkins has been the Olympia-based political reporter for the Northwest News Network. In that position, Austin covered Northwest politics and public policy as well as the Washington State legislature.
