That remark about him being able to ad lib so well reminded me of a time when he was getting ready to transition into the forecast and the TD punched up an over-the-shoulder graphic by mistake. It had a picture of a foamy glass of beer.
"Tomorrow's forecast... (chuckle). Go have a beer!" For someone who came across as pretty straight-laced, he still had a quick wit.
Always liked Harry. Seemed like a genuine guy and did an excellent job. Certainly from a different era.
