Yes. The bus barn is still standing, in use for other businesses. The three-story brick building on the hill is Stanley Elementary where I learned my ABCs. The school building was torn down and rebuilt. The second-story floor (leading to many of the classes, nurse’s office, and principal’s office) was very creaky. I still remember the smell from the cafeteria located in the basement, near the gym and the janitor’s quarters. https://qzvx.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Tac-Transit-Bus-Barn-Stanley-School.jpg

I’ve discovered a couple (color!) photos of the KTNT remote bus in service at the Daffodil Parade.

From 1965: https://tpl.accesstomemory.org/23824 Look closely and you will see a GE PC-11 camera streetside.

From 1966: https://tpl.accesstomemory.org/26183 This was the first year the parade was in color. You can see commentators Paul Herlinger and Len Higgins perched on top of the bus. Earlier that week, that brand new RCA TK-41C camera was nearly damaged when it fell to the floor as the KTNT crew was breaking down after the Daffodil Pageant telecast: https://www.newspapers.com/image/734770131/?match=1&clipping_id=173926080 (That young couple sitting on the scaffolding may have thought twice if they had known!) Interesting to see the old PC-11 still in use. I’m wondering if it was just there to shoot title cards (though I don’t see any here).

For a better look at these photos, I added them to the post. Thanks, again for researching the topic further. My family was there for the parade twice in the early 1960s.
