Gerald Baum, a KING Broadcasting radio and tv producer in the 1950s, passed away at the age of 88 on February 10th, 2023 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Baum studied at the Naval Communications School in Seattle and received his Communications Technician 3rd Class license through studies at Columbia School of Broadcasting in Philadelphia. It was at WBRE/Wilkes-Barre that Baum spent the bulk of his career, retiring after 31 years there.
