Why are we NOT surprised? Comcast, a company famous for hidden billing charges, will soon begin charging for Peacock tv programming which had previously been a perk for “valued customers”. To hell with the customer! Comcast wants your money and will do what is necessary to get it. Before the last customer cuts the cord, Comcast, hiding behind the alias of Xfinity, plans to charge for reruns of NBC programming and programming that NBC Universal believes customers will happily pay for.
Starting April 3, Peacock Premium will no longer be included for new Xfinity video and Flex customers. Customers will be presented with discounted offer details within the Peacock app.
Starting June 26, Peacock Premium will no longer be included for existing Xfinity video and Flex customers. Bill messages begin Feb. 13. Customers will be presented with discounted offer details within the Peacock app.
Join the cord-cutters. Dump Comcast/Xfinity. Do your research. There are many other streaming services available and most will not tie you to a contract. Hidden fees? Hopefully, those will die with Comcast.

I was never happier than the day I took my equipment back to Comcrap and cut the cord 6 years ago. There was about 8 of us waiting for them to open doing the same thing.

Yeah, Comcast hates when that happens.

Peter says:
They have no choice because as everyone must be aware, broadcast/cable/satellite audiences are falling rapidly so they have to squeeze money out of something. Look for more desperation to show up elsewhere in streaming very soon.

Jason Remington says:
Understood. And in doing so, the money-grab by cable/dish alienates the dollar-conscious consumer that is cutting extras like sports packages in order to buy eggs and baby formula.
The market will control streaming costs if there is enough competition.

Louis says:
Comcast’s business strategy of giving consumers less when revenue is down defies sound business principles. It is destined to negatively affect profits. There are way too many options now.
