Steven Smith submitted this article from the Seattle-PI (April 1965). Seems that auto racing would have been popular among a large section of Country music fans. So, how involved was KAYO in auto racing promotion and advertising? The article doesn’t even mention KAYO. Lee Whyte (Garry Lee White) was in management at KAYO.
