KNKX-FM 88.5 producer/host Jim Wilke is retiring after more than 30 years on KNKX 88.5 (KPLU) and KUOW FM…Jim Wilke hosts his very last Jazz Northwest program on August 27th at 2pm.

    Such a quietly impressive man, and such a resource, for many decades, as to what is going down in the NorthWest. How he had the sheer vision, as a young man, to record great musicians back in the day, just blows me away. I hope Jim is around for many more years, to occasionally comment on the music scene.
