His X.com post— “I’m excited to announce I’m the newest Chief Meteorologist at News Channel 8 in Tulsa. This is not a role I take lightly. I know the importance of the position and I’ll strive everyday to provide accurate, timely forecasts and information to help keep the viewers prepared, informed and protected. I also vow to tirelessly work to build on the legacy of my predecessors and will be able to seamlessly do so with the amazing Meteorologists on the team: Joie and Colton. I’m also giddy at the prospect of working toward the same goal, serving the community, with such amazing Meteorologists at the other tv stations and the NWS along with the Storm Chasers and Weather Enthusiasts in the market. Equally important is being back with my family in the Sooner State and having the ability to see them daily. I’m so thankful to the management at KTUL for their entrustment and this truly once in a lifetime opportunity. I’d be reminisced to also not thank my former stations, colleagues and mentors for helping shape me into the Meteorologist I am today. Green Country, I cannot wait to meet y’all and become an integral part of the community.”
