The answer may be in the salary ranges. Looking at KING 5 current job postings, their meteorologist salary is between 95,000 – 120,000. Current Fox13 meteorologist job posting indicates a range between 125,000 – 135,000.

FOX seems to have a taste for KIRO talent… Matthew Smith, Claire Anderson, now Lauren Donovan in a pretty short amount of time. Probably forgetting one or two as well.
