    Jason Remington says:

While some cancers are treatable, reversible– each year more than 50,000 people in the United States (and double this number in Europe) are now diagnosed with pancreatic cancer (adenocarcinoma). The prognosis is such that most of these people will have passed by the end of the first year.

    Dick Ellingson says:

I used to listen to Charlye on the Loveline Show nights on KMPS. She was my introduction to Stephen King. She was reading Pet Sematary and talked about it a few times with callers. So I read it – SCARY! – and was hooked on King from then on.

Very sad, hopefully in the future, with technology getting better, we will be able to diagnose Pancreatic Cancer in time to treat it.
    Rest In Peace
    Charlye.
