Found online amongst hundreds of British programs and audio books. No source given for the station taking the network feed. There was an earlier version of Family Theater back in the 1940s.

You’re probably thinking of the same “Family Theatre” that was on Mutual from 1947 to 1956. Mutual aired reruns Wednesday night at 7:30 pm ET from 1956 to the end of the 1960s.
