Peacock can’t save ROOT Sports

and cord-cutters will be cord-cutters. Any ties to cable will be shunned. Cord-cutters, by and large, are selective and streamers like NBC-Peacock will die with or soon after the death of cable tv.

    Lou Robbins says:

CHANGE OR DIE – To purchase the networks seperately is as dumb as staying connected to cable tv. Cord cutters hop and skip between streaming services, paying for one month to binge services, canceling and moving on to some other streaming service.
I think we will see plans offered by streamers which will attempt to lock viewers into contracts. These will fail miserably.
I think you will also see cable via Internet – a hub where all the networks ABC-CBS-NBC-HBO-AMC will be available in packages. There will be several of these services, but no great difference in price due to fixed pricing by the networks.
