Jeff Snyder contacted me to offer “twenty 7 inch reels of Smitty’s Old Records show from the period of 1958 to 1966ish, spanning KFKF, KBVU, and KLAN.
If you would like these tapes and have the ability to digitize them, I will put you in touch with Jeff.
Each of these reels holds one or two radio shows, each being about 30 minutes long. The tapes are in generally good condition, but there are some warbles and poor recordings.
Here is an opportunity to preserve a piece of Seattle radio history.
