Comcast is looking at possibly (if it is spoken, count on it happening) selling off their cable networks and is seeking streaming partners. We saw this coming, as more people are cutting the cable and taking a close look at their online streaming subscriptions. (TVNewscheck)

Disney has signed a 10-year deal which takes the Grammy awards from CBS starting in 2027. Viewership for the Grammy Awards is down from previous years. Disney plans to simulcast the ceremony on ABC, HULU and Disney +.

    1. By now we know KIRO will take a reporter and toss them onto the floor to do weather — or take the weather gal and put her in the field to do reporting. Last I saw Frankie, she was doing reports in the field. KIRO moves people around where they are needed. Too many firings.

  1. Is Frankie Katafias still on Kiro tv, haven’t seen her on air since October 11.I have seen a new weekend weather map by the name of Scott haveson.

  2. Well no more Liz Dueweke won’t bother me. I guess I have DDS. Dueweke derangement Syndrome. Prior to her Seattle gig she was known as Liz “Mean” Dueweke.

    As to KIRO, they have gone the path of all local TV stations with large corporations as owners. Nothing to see.

    1. Sloss does have that California vibe. I think Eric Thomas could grow into Seattle tv, but with downsizing being the thing these days, who knows if he will get that chance?
