  • Seems ironic to me that iHeart pours nearly all of their resources into their lowest rated station in Seattle. Gutted their highest rated station, KZOK, firing nearly all of the original cast, one person left, of that station, blew up the heritage KUBE station to put the lowest rated station on it, and keeps the boat anchors on 850, 950 and 1090 on the air. What are the power bills for those three? According to a friend they spent well over a million dollars actually close to two million remodeling the original studios in that place only to demolish and consolidate to a smaller area on the floor a couple years later with windowless studios and new equipment. All happening during and after a bankruptcy. All the while laying people off after the remodel and during the rebuild. Now they have this guy working Seattle and Spokane. Seems like an odd business strategy but what do I know?
