Natasha Stenbock signed off from KOIN 6/Portland on October 31st. This weekend she was doing the weather report at KIRO 7. Were they upfront with her on what her duties might be, besides weather? Traffic, street reporting…SPORTS?
Stenbock joined KOIN in 2017. Upon leaving KOIN, Natasha said, “This was a dream job, and I feel so lucky to have been offered the chance to lead a weather team in the same city where I was born. It’s not an easy decision to leave but I know it’s the best one for me and my family.” Plans could have changed since she said, “I plan to contribute more to my favorite flying organizations and share my weather knowledge with aviation groups.” Just as her role at KIRO will change based on needs of the business.

She was terrible in our area. Odd delivery, full of herself. She is not missed.
We disagree with the criticisms and will miss her here in Vancouver. But we can enjoy her forecasting for our relative with Kiro cable news broadcasts.
Where’s Frankie Katafias?
Frankie is doing street reporting during news segments. KIRO has laid off quite a few people and is shuffling the staff to do chores other than what they were hired to do.
