Filling in on the anchor desk this morning at KIRO 7, Liz Burch. Burch is a former KOIN 6 News reporter and anchor, who joined that station in November 2020 and left in June 2023. Before returning to the Pacific Northwest, Liz worked in Tampa as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor and in Asheville, North Carolina, as a reporter and anchor. Before that, she spent several years in Spokane working as a producer and reporter.
If KIRO didn’t have such high turn-over/lay-offs, they wouldn’t always be dipping into the hiring pool.

Liz Burch must be free-lancing at KIRO tv because she is on often, but does not have a bio posted on the KIRO 7 website even weeks after her debut.

One of them now works for Channel 13. The other is out on maternity leave.
