Ross retired after 47 years —
The WSAB salutes Dave Ross and Colleen O’Brien – who delivered their final broadcast of “Seattle’s Morning News” on 97.3 KIRO-FM today (December 19, 2024). Ross concludes a 57 year career in radio – 47 of them as an award winning reporter and talk show host at KIRO that took him around the globe to report on domestic and world news and earned him five Edward R. Murrow Awards. He was also a fixture on the CBS Radio Network, delivering a daily political commentary the past three decades. Both are retiring.
