Paul Rivera, KOMO 4 News, leaves for new adventures

Thank You Seattle & The Pacific Northwest for a special 3 years in my journalism career. This is one of the most beautiful corners of the world and it’s been a blessing to call it home.

I don’t know what my next adventure is, but I hope it’s as meaningful as what you’ve helped me accomplish here.

I’m grateful that you trusted me to tell your stories.

With love, Paul

What’s wrong in this market? All the good reporters seem to last a short time and leave. Paul was one of the best. Sorry to see him go.

KOMO 4 is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group which is one of many corporate groups using their newscasts to push an agenda, Sinclair leans RIGHT.
      KING 5 is WOKE.
KIRO 7 is facing continued cutbacks by Apollo Global Management.
KCPQ 13 has news people multitasking as does KIRO 7.
There are a lot of reasons that talented up & comers choose to move on.
