Victor Stredicke is a longtime figure in Seattle-area media, best known as the former radio-TV editor for The Seattle Times. Living in Walla Walla in my childhood. KALE and its scratchy signal was really, our only connection to top 40 radio during the daytime.
Of course, KTEL played Rock in the evening in Walla Walla. But not on Sundays.
