In what was supposedly an off mic question, post interview today, GB News (UK) correspondent Steven Edginton asked Republican representative Dan Crenshaw, had he ever met Tucker Carlson?
Crenshaw: “We’ve talked a lot on Twitter… If I ever meet him, I’ll f*cking k*ll him.”
This was not meant to be part of their interview, but the exchange was caught on hot mic today. Afterward, Edginton posted on X.com,
I laughed it off. He said: “No seriously, I would kill him”
The Texas representative had just finished giving an interview with conservative British news channel GB News when reporter Steven Edginton asked the question. Mics were still hot as the two had wrapped up the interview and mics were coming off lapels.
Crenshaw should be careful. Tucker might poke him in the other eye.
Tucker Carlson responded to Dan Crenshaw’s hot mic comments by inviting him for an interview, saying, “Why don’t you come sit for an interview and we’ll see how you do? I’ll send you my address.”
The exchange stems from controversy over U.S. aid to Ukraine, which Carlson opposes and Crenshaw supports.

Fans of the old Opie & Anthony radio show (WNEW/New York and Sirius radio) will be happy to know that Anthony Cumia, the talented half of that duo, will be back on terrestrial radio at 77 WABC, soon. Cumia, excommunicated for the past 11 years after what was deemed a racist rant, will likely take a weekend slot at first. Once up to speed, a weekday show would be his, according to Cumia who addressed the upcoming gig on his Monday podcast. Talks are still underway. A recent shake-up at WABC radio moved three personalities out of the line-up.
After Cumia was fired from the satellite radio gig, he started his own podcast company and will continue daily podcasts, in addition to his on-air position at WABC.
77 WABC is owned by Red Apple Media, a subsidiary of Red Apple Group, which is led by billionaire John Catsimatidis. He acquired the station from Cumulus Media in 2019 for $12.5 million and officially took ownership in March 2020. Catsimatidis, a New York businessman known for his Gristedes supermarket chain, has since maintained its conservative talk radio format.
That said, popular NY media personality Cousin Brucie (Morrow) maintains an Oldies music program Saturday nights on WABC. The Conservative talk station runs classic WABC jingles with a variety of talk programming, including a couple of programs hosted by station owner John Catsimatidis.

KIRO 7 has hired a new Assistant News Director. Rick Boone has served as Assistant ND and News Director at stations in Huntsville, Alabama and West Monroe, Louisiana. The television markets for West Monroe, Louisiana, and Huntsville, Alabama, are based on the Nielsen Designated Market Area (DMA) rankings. These rankings reflect the size of the TV audience in each area.
West Monroe falls within the Monroe, Louisiana-El Dorado, Arkansas DMA, which is ranked #99 in the 2024–2025 Nielsen rankings. This market covers a region that includes both Monroe and nearby areas like West Monroe.
Huntsville is part of the Huntsville-Decatur, Alabama DMA, ranked #96 in the same Nielsen rankings. This market serves Huntsville, Decatur, and surrounding parts of North Alabama.
So, Huntsville, Alabama, is the #96 TV market, and West Monroe, Louisiana, is part of the #99 TV market.

So, stock up on the Orville Redenbacher. Place your bets. Between KOMO’s ND/Mark Neerman and KIRO’s Assistant ND/Boone, my TV Newsroom Bingo card has Neerman marked as most likely to bail first. It has been said that Neerman has lashed out at employees where he previously worked and ruined careers. Recently, Dan Nguyen, a reporter for KOMO 4, hired just around the Christmas holiday, was one of the first casualties during month one of Neerman’s reign.
