Bill Taylor comments about Ron MacDonald
April 3, 2025 at QZVX
Jason Remington says:
He was a finalist for the open midday shift, but the PD went with Jim French, Ron’s old colleague at KIRO.
After Seattle, Ron worked as an information officer at the state patrol, then Department of Social and Health Services, and we linked up again in the Legislature — I was the broadcast information officer for the House Republican Caucus, and Ron handled broadcast for the Senate Republican Caucus.
He was an avid golfer, and appreciated the art of crafting the perfect martini, a few of which we enjoyed together at The Falls Terrace.
We remained close friends after his retirement, up to his passing in 2019. (Bill Taylor)
