The FCC has determined that Clay Huntington is an acceptable applicant for the frequency of 1480 kHz in Lakewood. The new call letters will be KQLA and Huntington says the format will be Beautiful music.
Pat O’Day has been waiting patiently for FCC approval of his purchase of KORL in Honolulu. O’Day says he has decided to hire Lan Roberts as morning man and staff other timeslots with native personnel.
